Again, we are taking the necessary steps to ensure the safety and health of our employees and our clients. For this reason, we are taking the following steps going forward.
Office Closure to Public
Effective Monday March 23rd, 2020, our office will be closed to the public and will remain closed until Wednesday April 1st, 2020. Depending on the evolution of the situation, we may extend this period past that date.
To ensure our continued level of service and continuity for our clients and minimize employment disruption to our employees, we have implemented processes whereas most of our employees can work remotely from their home and will be encouraged to do so going forward.
All partners and staff will have access to their work email, and we encourage our clients to contact them via email whenever required to do so.
On a regular basis, we will have administrative personnel attend the office to manage client’s information as it comes in, scan documents and provide support for our file preparers and managers working from home.
Sensitive client information will remain at the office at all times.
Client Information Drop Off and Delivery
Documents can still be delivered to our office via email, regular mail, e-courier or through our mail slot located in the back door. During office hours we will have a box in our vestibule for clients to continue to provide their corporate and personal tax information, we have a system where a tone rings inside our office when someone enters this area. Once you have dropped off your documents, our staff will bring the items into our office. When delivering the information to the office, we ask clients to deliver documents in a sealed envelope with their name and the date noted on the envelope.
Again, to maintain continuity and high level of service to our clients, whenever possible and when safe to do so, we encourage our clients to deliver their corporate year-end and personal tax information.
